Just published this week a new 400 page History of Queenbury book written and researched by John Patchett and published by the Northowram Historical Society. This book traces the origins of the area right back to very early records from medieval times. It is illustrated and printed in colour and shows some fascinating images of places in Queensbury or Queenshead as it was previously called. John has an extensive knowledge of the area and previously worked for the West yorkshire Archive Service.
There are only 400 copies available. If you do require one please purchase now. In the past, the History of Northowram book which had 750 copies printed, sold out within three months.
John will be attending the Scout Hall presentation on Thursday 18th November 2021 with copies of the new book for sale. Priced at £22 per copy it is in hard back with a dust jacket and contains 400 printed pages.
