What we believe is the imminent sale of the Yew Tree Inn for the development of housing is a major concern to residents. Rumours sway between the demolition of the old building to it having a preservation order attached to it and therefore cannot be demolished. We will try and establish the true status and inform residents as soon as possible to the outcome of this historic building in Northowram.

Also the proposed Co-op on Bradford Road opposite Northowram garage is still meeting obstacles on its progression through the planning application process. We believe these are to do with the turning circles for delivery lorries and the need for a proper Pelican Crossing in the vicinity to help add to the safety of pedestrians.
